THE HAIRDRESSERS’ Association of B.C. hosted more than 1,400
hairdressers at its annual convention, held this year March 23-24 at the
Westin Bayshore Hotel. Left, models Dori Johnson, Karin McSherry and
Jessica Ruth show off the new styles created especially for them by
Wayne Russell. Above, Russell with assistant Kelly Russell work on
model Sharon Hyprochuk’s hair. The style he created was one of many
judged at the convention, in photo bottom left. One of the styling
highlights, from Russell, was pinning up model Rachael Poirier’s waist-
length hair.
