The first game saw the Tigers go to a 10-8 victory over Surrey, with Christine Campbell scoring her first. goal with a game-winning shot. A hat trick by Alison Boyd helped the team with its strong win. The second game saw them lose 8-5, despite a strong defensive ef- fort by Erin Williams and goalie Katle Emmings, who stopped 31 shots, The Belle Blades defeated the Poco Debs 5-2, with Erin Sackney in goal for the first time. Nicole Miller had two goals and one assist in the healthy win. Other action saw the Petite ‘A’ Lions receive their second loss of the season by going down 9-7 against Aldergrove. Hat tricks by Kim McNeill and Michelle Keast, good defence by Carrie McKellar, Darcy Berringer and top goaiten- ding by Kerri Jesson made for a close game. Hockey two-step PRACTISING THEIR skating skills at the North Van- couver Recreation Centre rink are members of a local midget hockey team.
