THE SLEDDING was fine over the weekend but more
than a little tough by Tuesday. Heavy snow Friday and
Saturday blanketed the North Shore making driving a
challenge and turning local parks into havens for cross-
country skiers and builders of snowmen. Warm
temperatures and rain that started Sunday have done
away with most of the snow. but June Dubowits and
daughter Sharee ‘ook advantage of it while it lasted.
