passed away suddenly in Lisas Gate
Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 1993.
Predeceased by her husband Charles.
Survived by her hrother Mitton Harvey of
Kamloops and numerous nieces and
nephews. A memorial service will be
held Wednesday, February 3 at 2 p.m. at
the First Memorial Funeral Chapel,
North Yancouver. in lieu of flowers,
donations to the Canadian Diabetes
Association would be very much appre-
ciated,

HUDSON - Lyle, on Sunday, January 24,
1993, beloved husband of “Maisie”
Hudson of Penticton, B.C., passed away
in Penticton Regional Hospital at the
age of 65 years. He also leaves to mourn
one daughter, Lori Hudson of White-
horse, Yukon. and 2 sons, Mark (wile
Janine) of. Richmond, 8.C., Allan (wife
Anne Louise) of North Vancouver, B.C.
He will be sadly missed by 3 grandchil-
dren, Christopher, Nickolas and Alana.
The family request no service, Cremation
will take place at the Okanagan
Crematorium in Penticton, 8.C.

LARAMEE - Betty Jeanette (nee
Desjardins) passed away peacefully into

the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, °

January 27,1993. Deeply loved mother
of Clive, Chris, Dee, Jud, and Libby.
Nanna of 12 grandchildren, Also great
grandmother of 2. Also survived by her
sister Nan of England, brother Den of
Tasmania and several nieces and neph-
ews. We will remember her for her tove
of children, how much pleasure the
ocean and the great outdoors gave her,
the readings of great poets and good
Music. We know her strong desire to win
the crib game and her: obsession with
crosswords gave her great enjoyment. To
those special friends, who she shared
precious moments with, we wish to send
our heartfelt thanks fcr your constant
caring and support. We also would like
to thank the emergency ward and the
Palliative Care Unit at Lions Gate Hospi-
tal. Please join the family for a remem-
brance gathering at the Royal Canadian

SIMMONS - Cyril H. passed away sud-
denly at his home in North Vancouver
on’ January 27, 1993, aged 71 years.
Predeceased by his wife Jessie in 1973.
He is survived by his son David of Van-
ceuver; his daughter Jill and grandchil-
dren Jesse and Lisa Rosvold, all of Fort
Saint john; his brother Victor and
sister-in-law Jessie of Midway; and his
dear friend Muriel Marshall of North
Vancouver. His fife will be celebrated
February 1 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's
Wesley Church, 1012 Nelson Street,
Vancouver. In tieu of flowers, donations
to a charity of your choice would be
appreciated. Cremation.
