Paterson misses world champs ‘Lions pla y| locals for| Hansen THE 1987 version of the B.C. Lions Basketball Team will play games in support of the Rick Hansen Man In Motion World Tour at Carson Graham Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. and at Hillside Feb. 13 starting at 8 p.m. Sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chicken and Nike, the Lions basketball team will be playing games throughout the spring at Lower Mainland schools and will donate a portion of each game's proceeds to the Rick Hansen Fund. The games also provide the schools with a fund-raising oppor- tunity for their own events. Offensive lineman Jamie Buis, the club’s coordinator, will be assisted by linemate John Blain. Other regular members playing with the team in the weeks ahead will include Ray Crouse, Mike Gray, Mel Byrd, Bob Skemp, Ber- nie Glier, Jim Mills, John Ulmer, Bruce Barnett and Andre Francis. To date there are 22 confirmed games on the schedule that will run through until mid-April.
