Spring activities in works

THE KAREN Magnussen, Lynn
Valley and Seylynn recCentres are
once agin gearing up for spring
programs.

The centres have planned to of-
fer a wide variety of activities
ranging from fitness and skating
programs to social/childeare pro-
grams for pre-schoolers.

The Lynn Valley recCentre will
introduce tiny tot soccer and T-
ball as well as diaper gym and
other activities for toddlers,
Seylynn recCentre will offer pre-
schoolers floor hackey and soccer,

School-age children are invited
to join such programs us Certified
First Aid, babysitting training, or
arts and crafts programs.

New at Seylynn recCentre are a
variety of indoor soccer and ball
hockey programs for all who want
to join.

The new Lynn Valley Drop-in
Preteen Centre will continue to
Operate this spring. { offers 10-
10 $3-year-olds a safe and social
environment to pursue activities
after school. Hours of operation
will be Monday to Friday, 3:15 to
5:15 pam. , Friday evenings from
6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays
from tl am, to 3 p.m. at the
Lynn Valley recCentre at 3150

The North Shore Recycling Pragram (your municipal recycling department) is
offering up to 3000 Garden Gourmet composters to residents of the North Shore
on a first-come, first-served basis, This sturdy, easy-to-use
composter is made from 100% recycled plastic
and is also rodent-resistant.

To obtain a composter, send in your cheque for
$25 (taxes inclu.) with the completed coupon
below. We will then send you a receipt which
must be used to claim your composter. The
composters will be available for pick-up only
at the end of May. You will be
notified of the date and location
for pick-up.
