Last Wednesday, May 6, one hundred and sixteen top North Vancouver secondary
students were honoured by the school district and twenty corporate sponsors at
the district’s fourth annual Honours Luncheon. The students came from ali 6 of

the district's high schools, Windsor, Argyle, Carson Graham, Sutherland, .

Handsworth and Seycove.

Representatives of North Shore business organizations presented specially rninted
pins and certificates to the students who comprise about ten percent of this year's

graduating class in North Vancouver. Mr. Dan Miscisco spoke. to the assembled
students, sponsors, school district and civic officials of the importance of goal-
setting and motivation from within. The luncheon is organized each year by a

committee of secondary school vice-principals and is held at the Seymour Golf

and Country Club. ;

The organizing committee gratefully acknowledges the ongoing contribution of
its corporate sponsors for their financial support of this event.
