the Provisions of the Municipal Act at:

The Hearing was adjourned on Tuesday May 30, 1989 in order to allow time for a review cf four major
issues raised in connection with the Official Community Plan, namely

— the overall transportation study
- the residential areas identified in the Inter-River area

~ the Maplewood Flats area
~— the designation of the three industrially-zoned properties West of Cates Park,
along with comparative reviews of the relative Area Official Community Plans.
These issues have been addressed with the help of Citizens’ Review Committees along with Profes-
sione! Consultants and Counci! has resolved to amend the Official Community Plan. Therefore it is the
intention to RECONVENE THE PUBLIC HEARING ON BYLAW 6000 ONLY FOR THE FURPOSE OF
CLOSING IT, and immediately Call to Order a Special Council Meeting at which time it is anticipated
that Bylaw 6000 will be DEFEATED. It will then be possible to Call to Order the Public Hearing in respect
of Bylaw 6300, being the new “District Official Community Plan.”
