Halloween
show set
for kids

at Orpheum

THE ORPHEUM Kids’ Club is at
it again.

On Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2:30
p.m., the curtain wili rise on a
Halloween Spook-tacular, packed
full of entertainment for kids.

Appearing on stage are well-
known B.C.. magicians Farquhar
and Felicity. The duo will perform
a number of amazing feats in-
cluding a broom levitation. As well
Jeni and the Dinosaur Revival
Band, a pie-eating contest, mimes
and jugglers will all get in on the
act.

And, in the Saturday matinee
tradition of classic cartoon com-
edies, Donald Duck appears in
“Trick or Treat,’? and Mickey
Mouse and Goofy in ‘Lonesome
Ghosts.”’

To top off the afternoon, kids
will be treated to the thrilling
sound of the Orpheum’s mighty
Wurlitzer pipe organ.

People of all ages are welcome
to the matinee. Kids are encourag-
ed to come dressed in costume and
be eligible to win a prize.
