ARP WORKS by three popular
Scandinavian artists has come to
North Vancouver.

“Tt would be nice if people here
could see these things because
they're vers popular in] Denmark
and Norway.’ said Susanne Friis,
who has brought works by Peter
Christoffersen, Bent Bertram
Hillestrom and Egon Johanne
Wilhjelim here.

The Danish-born Christof-
fersen’s artworks, which are at

home in the most fashionable of

offices, feature a variety of seenes
from Greenland and the Faroe
islands.

Selling the artists’ works for the
past seven years, Friis opened a
gallery in Norway about 18 months
ago, and believes Canadians will
like these artworks.

The works —~ some featuring a
series of inter-related paintings —
are displayed until Aug. 17. when
Friis vous back to Norway. For
