Artists Karen Heine, Raymond Chow, John Horton and Kiff Holland will be at the May 23 cvent teaching a host of watercolor, drawing and oil painting skills. West Vancouver artist Daniel Izzard and artist Sonia deGrandmaison are slated to present lectures on Chamber music series a success THE WEST Vancouver Com- munity Arts Council's recent chamber music series was a big success, attracting a larger au- dience than last year, organizers say. “The attendance was much higher than last year,’’ ccuncil ex- ecutive director Lynn Flipse said of the recent series. ‘‘It’s such a high quality series.”” About 200 people attended each of the series’ three concerts last season. Just finishing its fifth year, the series attracted renowned chamber music players such as Quartet Canada and has been widely prais- ed for its quality.
