First Impressions _

FIRST IMPRESSIONS Theatre is celebrating the first anniver-
sary of the Deep Cove Shaw Theatre with the Broadway

musical,

You're a Good Man,

Charlie Brown. The cast in-

cludes Mitchell MacKay as Charlie Brown and Juliette Ben-
son as Patty. The play opens tonight and runs until April 10.

Saki’s serves hearty fare

thick with beans and.vegetables.
Saki’s kitchen does an Y especially
good job with seafood. Table

and fre ne and fried in a light, crisp
batter. :
Our half-dozen Garlic Prawns,
meanwhile, were finished in
lemon and garlic and surrounded
with roast Greek potatoes and a
Greek salad.
The lamb special was more
challenging.
Itincluded a large’ lamb rack*
that had been roasted with lemon,
dill, Dijon mustard and artichokes. .
The combination was interest-

_ ing, ‘but | found the portion of
- meat too large and too filling.

ous portions of roast potatoes,

steamed artichokes, boiled carrots
wand rice.

Saki’s Cream Caramel w was @x-
‘cellent. Wonderfully smooth and:

rich, it came topped with whipped .

cream and atop @ pool of’ liquified
brown sugar.
The restaurant's wine list in-

cludes about two dozen.selections:
($11 to $20), with several interest-

ing Greek bottles available.
