Richardson denied that
there was any ‘bad blood’
between Johnstone and
himself. The Colts, he add-
ed, had begun as a good
franchise, and the league
had no desire to see the
organization disappear, ‘‘but
the league is committed to a
six-team schedule. If the
Colts decide not to par-
ticipate, another team will
have to be found.’*
