Carols and choirs for half time

Fans who attend the Van-
couver Whitecaps - Calgary
Boomer game at the Col-
iseum Saturday might will be
getnng in the Christmas
mood, thanks to the Indoor
soccer club.

While the Caps try to build
on thetr first place lead in
the Canadian division of the
NASL indoor season, there
will be a half ume show with
choirs and carols.

After a slow start the
Whitecaps have found the
indoor game to their bking
by moving into the top spot
in the four team Canadian
division.

Following the settlement

of the labor problems
between players and
Management, it was decided
to leave the schedule as it
had been established al the
begimning of the trouble.

Because of the problems
regarding players visas,
Canadian teams were unable
to gam admission to the
United States during the
dispute.

Now that al] is peace m the
league, 11 was decided to let
the revised schedule stand
with the winner of the Cana-
dian division advancing to
the playoffs against the other
divisions south of the
border.

championship on Saturday.

squeezed by Hamilton and

Britannia to capture second
place with the other pai of
schools in a tie for third
place.

No other North Shore
school was close with
Charles Tupper capturing
fourth place followed by
Vancouver Tech and Notre
Dame.
