Happy Valentine's Day!
Be sure to spread your love
around today! We all need it.

It's disappointing to look
-forward to a course, enroll
and pay your money, and
then ‘find out it really isn't
what you thought it would
be.

Maybe your expectations
were too high, maybe the
course description was fuzzy,
but whatever it is it becomes
a hassle to either arrange a
refund, or bumble through
the course a bit unhappily
(and don’t think your teacher
won't notice).

Much better to consult |

with that teacher, now,
before the spring session
‘rolls around. You could
observe a class, if you
wanted to, but at least you
could get a realistic picture of
what you can expect when
you register.

Then if the course of your
choice isn’t what you
thought, you have plenty of
time to think about another
one, and do similarly with
that one. It’s rather like
comparative shopping, and
why not?

+ they have periods in their
days or evenings when
they’re plain bored, then
what on earth are you
waiting for?

It’s safe to say unequiv-
ocally that there will be
something in the spring
brochure that could interest
you.

There are a number of
people, notably those newly
retired, who make it a point
to take something new and
very different every time the
courses start. These kinds of
people, who deliberately
open their minds to let good
things come in, are the ones
we love to be around.

My own mother did things
like this—in her last years,
she took up Spanish, hat-
making, typing and bridge.
She was not a dull person to
have as a friend. If you
suspect you are, think about
this remedy! It's absolutely
never too fate to enjoy night
school.
