residents last Monday to ask you
if you feel the time-honored
(though potentially, egad!, exclu-
sionary) sentiment that father
knows best is still valid.

Triumphantly, fathers, I can
report that 42.6% of those polled
believed that you are still number
one, at least today.

One-quarter (26%) felt that
the male parent’s advice was
askew. Probably explains the tie.

In keeping with the political
climate out there, or over there,
the fence-sitters represented an
equal amount (25.1%) to the
naysayers,
