A struggle ensucd during the arrest. Investigation revealed the suspect had been stealing meat from a- balcony freezer. He had also defecated on the bal- ‘cony before leaving. Since 1986, the suspect has been convicted fifteen times of Property-related offences. At : the time of this alleged offence he was awaiting court for a charge of attempted break and enter and on probation for’ two years for theft charges from 1997. Mounties collar molester A young man flagged down police near Marine Dr. and Hamilton Ave. in North Vancouver just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 7. The man, a student from Oregon, said he was walking to his hast family’s home when a man approached him, offered him money aud molested him. The victim said he last saw the suspect just moments belore running to the police. A description of the suspect was broadcast and a shore time later two officers reported being in pursuit of the suspect in Mosquito Creck Park.
