ON THE day your humble servant appeared before the Press Council to answer for his alleged sins, Tony Parsons of BCTV led off his Station’s report with these ~ words: “Ultra right-wing columnist Doug Collins...”. The dictionary definition of “ultra” is as follows: . “Going beyond what is ustal or ordinary; excessive, extreme.” _ . That is its adjectival use. The .. word can also be a noun, meaning, “An extremist, as in religion, poli- *. tics, fashion, and the. like.” Fascinating. We flush 100,000 babies down the, drain every year at great cost socially; financially and morally. : That, too, is not extremism. Affirmative action? With gov- ernments hell bent on discriminat- ing against whites, Lord Tony and Co. do not consider that to be extremist. Hence no references to “ultra lunatic” politicians. Sodomy? Until Pierre Trudeau * got into the act, oudawing this dis- ease-ridden and disgusting practice was not seen to be extreme. Today, the reverse is true. ; It is not seen to be extreme when pansies, lesbians, and freaks of all kinds prance and dance in the streets of Vancouver. Nor is it seen ~to be extreme when children are taught in school that sodomy is “natural. ” . : ‘The extremists are those who say that that sort of thing is extremely mad. Moving right along, we note that governments have got us into a state of national bankruptcy. _. They handed out money to any : squeaky leftist-wheel that yelled for ,, it, wasted billions on the bilingual- ism idiocy, poured billions into Quebec, financed every racist-eth- nic group in the country, and taxed the ass off the rest of us.
