Gurney Jr.’s sensitive and hu- morous portrayal of growing up Handsworth A 20-year reunion for the 1970 Grade 12 graduates of Handsworth Secondary School in North Van- couver will be held on June 8 and 9. On Friday, June 8 there will be a pizza and refreshment night at the school cafeteria for grads only. On Saturday a dinner and dance for in the genre of Surmmer of 742 and My American Cousin. Directed by John G. McLaren, the play concerns a 14-year-old boy whose father goes off to war. FITNESS CLASSES Instructors improve technique MEN AND women who have finished their Fitness Instructor Theory Class and would like to work on their teaching technique are invited to enrol in a 15- hour Fitness Instructors Practical Course. Offered by the North Vancouver YMCA, the course helps participants create their own choreography and style using a very basic movement variation method- ology. Video analysis will allow participants to have a thorough look at their presentation styles.
