The marine rescuers spent five and a half hours pulling the 42-foot boat, owned by a Eyes West Vancouver man, off rocks in Indian Arm. They had found the boat with both engines running at half throttle while it was aground. It had also been ransacked by the boat thieves. The rescue team was called into action at 2:30 p.m. last Thursday when the boat was reported aground a _ mile north of the Bunson Power Station on Indian Arm. Rescuers went out from Fisherman’s Cove, arriving at the scene at 3:30 p.m. An 11-foot dinghy that had been on the back of the boat was recovered by police Sun- day in Port Moody. Investigation into the theft of the boat and its expensive grounding continues.
