North Shore cyclists who
are seriovs about. their
bicyclés and are warming up
for ‘serious cycling this
summer can test their ex-
pertise today (Sunday) at the
1981. Stanley Park Handicap
Bicycle Race 2

event held in Stanley Park

All riders must belong to
the Bicycle Association of
British Columbia (BABC)
and the $9 memberships will
be available at the start.
Cyclists must also wear
helmets to comply with

from 6:30 to 7:20 a:m. at the
Second Beach parking lot.

participated in the tenth
annual boys invitational
soccer tournament last
weekend in North Burnaby.

Boys, aged seven to nine,
in the Burdetts Silver,
Capilano Thunderbirds,
Mount Seymour and Lynn
Valley clubs competed in
both team and -individual
events sponsored by the
Norbum soccer club at
Confederation Park.

North Shore clubs par-
ticipated in the finals of the
events for both the eight and
nine year olds.

York Cosmos after four
years playing in the North
American Soccer League.
