with ‘slight improvement’ over last year

House sales across British

Columbia were generally excellent during the
third quarter of 1980, a slight improvement over
the fair to excellent conditions during the third
quarter last year, according to a residential real
estate survey recently completed by A.E. LePage

Limited.

“As of September 30, the
survey, which covered more
than 30 municipalities across
Brush Columbia, showed
that there was an upward
trend in all markets making
the province's real estate
market uniformly healthy
compared to the same time
last year,” said Julian Merry,

national manager of A.E.
LePage's Coast to Coast Real
Estate Service.

In Victoria, excellent
house sales were reported in
every price range especially
in the medium and higher
price categories. In the
medium price bracket,
homes, selling for between
$65,000 and $95,000 in last
year’s third quarter, in-
creased to between $80,000
and = $130,000 this year.
