there are new characters revealed
but hey, once you’re Darth, what's
the point? Use the Dark Side. It's
better, as we always knew it was. A
little simple, a little flawed, but a
must-have for the scum and villainy
of it all. Great rental. Good pur-
chase.

Playstation: Resident Evil 2

A highly anticipated scquel,
Resident Evil 2 serves up a haunt-
ing, blood-spattcring gore feast with
all the atmospheric trimmings.

Plot involves the rampant and
deadly mutant “G-virus,” which is
infecting and zombifving everything
in its path, Play as cither Leon, the
rookie cop, or Claire, sister of Chris
from the first Resident Evil. Start as
either character and then follow up
as the other in Mission 2.

to control. While those are fun to
drive, mastering them is critical for
moving the story along. Ever in that
wonderful “chase-camera” mode

ond-person action/adventure is an

In spite of the occasional glitch
and flicker (the price of massive
ness), the adventure is inspired,
mind-boggling and exquisite.
