Beginning Music Theory and Basic Harmony are being oftered at
three recreational centres this fall. These courses are designed tor
ages 12 and up, particularly for those young people who are already
studying an instrument or voice. and who are involved in taking Royal
Conservatory of Toronto exams in their instruments. The classes will
be geared towards December exams, but students are not obligated
to take these exams. Often, those who have studied an instrument in
high school didn't have the opportunity of learning enough theory.
and these classes are also-recommended for those high schoot
students or adults who simply want to learn more theory.
