The Annual competitions for the Leyland Cup (Men) and the Miles Trophy —_ “Rose Bowl” (Ladies) were played recently on a home and home basis between the North Vancouver and West Vancouver Lawn Bowling Clubs. These competitions have been held for several years and are always keenly contested in a friendly at- mosphere. This year the North Vancouver Ladies retained possession of the Rose Bow! with a score of 9 games to 3, but the West Vancouver Men’s Club captured the Leyland Cup with a 10 to 6 victory over their North Vancouver opponents.
