Dear Editor: : After reading Noel Wright's column of May 28, | was unable to discover what the purpose was in producing it. It could marginally pass as a Piece of election campaign mate- tial, but as a column in a com- munity newspaper promising bet- ter coverage, it grossly misinforms its readers on a matter that is very important to them at this time of year. Even more, the article gratu- itously maligns council members and staff who worked on the 1993 budgets. It is capped by a headline that is obviously wrong. | find this totally unacceptable.
