We had decided upon the Sun-
downer after being informed that
it had, of late, changed menu and
chef.

An investigation was therefore in
order. it had, after all, been almost
seven years since the last Table
Hopping adventure at the Sun-
downer.

And that experience was less
than overwhelming. We were im-
pressed more by the Sundowner's
great location than its rather pe-
destrian food.

downer, is on the shores of scenic
Howe Sound at the Sunset marina.
On a sunny summer evening, it
has few equals for sheer West
Coast magnificence, presenting a
panoramic backdrop of islands
and coastline and a foreground of

hypnotic maritime activity.

Inside the Sundowner, the decor
remains nautical, but it has been
cleaned up and simplified since
our fast visit.
