Elderwatch Visiting Service pro- vides services including escort to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping, airport escort, companionship, help with letters, forms and bills, car outings, regu- lar reports to the family as re- quested, and respite for care- givers. Elderwatch partner Marilyn Wallace is a past director of the seniors’ well-being activation team in East Vancouver and is co-author of the book, Coping Skills For Seniors. Wallace is also a member of the RCMP Victim Services Pro- gram in North Vancouver and is a volunteer with the North Shore Crisis Centre's Emily Myrphy House. Ruth Arnet has worked with the RCMP and has attended workshops on the abuse and ne- giect of the elderly. Margaret Scott, who has lived on the North Shore for the past 24 years, is a member of the Alzheimer Associa- tion and is a committee member of - the North Shore Friends of Schizophrenia.
