A 1%-day training workshop will be held in June. GROUP facilitators over 25 years, with good listening and communication skills are needed to facilitate weekly mectings of a North Shore self help group for parents. The goals of the group in- clude preventing child abuse, pro- viding a safe, confidential en- vironment and building a suppor- tive group network. Hours are flexible afternoons. An art therapy group needs a person with good organizational skills to help sort a library sharing system for student papers and articles and to help organize the library. There is also an opportunity to become a board member. Volunteer should be enthusiastic, have an interest in counselling services and be willing to make a one-year commitment.
