Effective April 1, 1998, trucks, trailers and truck tractor, tractor-trailer combinations in excess of 11,200 kg GVW (Heavy Vehicles) are pro- hibited from travelling downhill on most streets in West Vancouver below the Upper Levels Highway and on certain other streets. Heavy Vehicles may only enter the area below the Upper Levels Highway and west of Taylor Way via Marine Drive at Taylor Way or from Marine Drive at Horseshoe Bay. Heavy Vehicles exiting this area must travel uphill. Heavy Vehicles will be permit- ted to access the Caulfeild Shopping Centre from the Upper Levels Highway.
