They all are home-based busi- nesses, like my tile fellow and my drapery installer.” About 80% of her business is in. West Vancouver, versus about 20% in North Vancouver. Interior design is ultimately avery personal matter. To pull it off successfully she asks a lot of questions of her clients at the beginning of the process. “I listen and I’m very honest. It’s called communication and it becomes a very. personal relationship when. you are working in a person’s home. “You want to reflect their style of living. Color plays a big role. It’s a passion with me and it has to be.” A good 80% of her business is from referrals.
