Space is making its way into Pres-
entation House Theatre this
‘Thursday and Friday.

This North Shore theatre group
is bringing its wacky sense of
humor to the stage, and they‘re
inviting everyone to join in the

The young company, made u
of Gio Const Forquille De jonge.
Victor John (V.J.) Delos Reyes,
Peter Dodson, Lach Fergusson,
Sean Frewer, Kevin Gamble, jeff
MacPherson and Ryan McCartney,
has officially been together for two
years, ever since Carson Grahain
drama instructor Mike Reid sug-
gested they put together an act for
a benefit show for the Lions Club.

The theatresports troupe has
since gone on to larger recogni-
tion, performing at the B.C. Festi-
val of the Arts last year.

Squamish plan
mini-powwow

THE SQUAMISH Nation will hold
a mini powwow on Nov. 14 from
1 p.m. to 12 a.m. at its recreation
centre, 100 Capilano Rd., North
Vancouver.

There will also be native arts and
crafts for sale:at the one-day event.

with their name.

“The number 43 has always
been a special number for all the
guys,” said De Jonge. ‘Seven
years ago it was a dirt-bike rider's
number, whose name I can’t
remember, and sore how the
number stuck. So when it came to
picking a name, all we knew is
that 43 had to be in it.”

(The group’s press package
comes complete with a recipe for
a “43 pound cake, that yields
344 servings.’’}

The Nov. 5 and 6 performance
will include eight theatresports
games and scenes written by the
company, plus door prizes.

Tickets for the two-hour comedy
extravaganza, beginning at 7:30
p.m., are available from 983-2753.
