his loving wife Jessie after 63

grandchildren ana 3 great-great
grandchildren. Uncle Louie pro-
tected, preserved, taught and
was co-writer of the Squamish
Language. He was aiso a mem-
ber of The Knights of Columbus
and North Vancouver Canoe
Club. Honorary member of The
O.M.I. and co-founder of fhe
Legion of Mary. Uncie Lour had
his Doctor of Laws-honoris
Causa, and served as Chief 2nd
Counsel for 52 years. On bf
of Uncle Louie, the family would
like to thank the nurses and siaif
in West 4 at Lions Gate Hosoital.
Also the nursing aids who pro-
vided home care. Prayers were
said Tuesday. February 13, 1999
at 7:30pm in The St. Pauls Catho-
lic Church, North Vancouver,
followed Ly Funeral Mass, Wed-
nesday. February 14, 1990 at
10:30am. Father Dennms Alex
ander O.M.. Celebrant. [interment
