Centre may soon be able to
unwind after their swim or
work-out with a tall, cool
drink in the Centre's own
‘pub’. The concept was
approved in principle by
both North Van District and
North Van City councils at
their regular meetings
Monday evening.

The councils supported a
Recreation Commission
resolution calling for the
Centre’s Seymour room to
be converted to a licensed
social lounge. Programs
using the room will be
relocated to other suitable
facilities, possibly the North
Van High School gym and
cafeteria.
