Hazeimere Organic Farm in Surrey for the sixth annual “Feast of Fields. There, they can wander the °° farm and graze from die kiosks :-of more than 30 restaurants, - wineries, microbreweries and food producers, sampling — : treats like berries nestled in panna cotta cones, Provencal pissaladiere glistening with Deana caster carmelized onions and anchovies, fresh goat cheeses encased in puff pastry, prof- iteroles floating in a warm sauce of Belgian chocolate and more. North Shore restaurants Participating include the Beach House at Dundarave Pier and the Salmon House on the Hill. Dan Atkinson, chef at the Salmon House, said the festi- val is one of his favourites. “It’s a lot of fun, being outside, Everyone is very relaxed and informal.” And he likes the message. Whenever possible, he likes to cook with fresh and local foodstufis. “This summer we've even been picking local berries from down the road.” For Feast of Fields he’s pairing dishes with Crannog Ales, a microbrewery which hails from Sorrento in the north Okanagan.
