Dear Editor:

On Halloween evening our home
was visited by many young neighbor-
hood goblins, witches, ghosts and
Space creatures calling out , “Trick or
treat.” Without exception, upon

These goblins had good manners

receiving their treats, these voungsters
thanked me and then said good night
as they left to) continue their
Halloween adventures. Most otten the
mothers and fathers who accompanied
their children added their thank you.

Much is written on how: self-cen-
tred and badly behaved are today’s
children. The children who rang my
bell this Halloween certainly gave the
lig to this popular stereotype. 1 comm-
mend the neighborhood children and
