HOWELL - Dorothy Evangeline “Dot”,
peacetully at Evergreen House in North
fancouver, 8.C., on Friday, December 3,
1993, at the age of 77 years. Dot is sur-
vived by her loving husband Donald; and
her children, daughters Phyllis Hay,
Barbara Smith and Beatrice Howell, and
her sons Tom and his wife Evelyn, and
Ted. She also leaves eight grandchildren
and many nieces, nephews and dear
friends. Dot was the third of thirteen
children born te Joseph and Bessie
Smith, Nine of her brothers and sisters
remain including her twin sister, Dona-
tions in Dot's memory to the Canadian
Diabetes Association would be greatly
appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00
noon on Thursday, December 9th in the
Boal Chapel of FIRST MEMORIAL
FUNERAL SERVICES, 1505 Lillooet Road,
North Vancouver.

LEA - Mary (nee Molyard), peacefully on
Friday, December 3, 1993. A longtime
West Vancouver resident. Born in North
Battleford, Saskatchewan on December
31, 1913. Survived by toving husband of
48 years, George B.; and four sons,
George and Evelina, Ron and Barbara,
John and Wendy, Ted and Lora; and five
grandchildren, Graham, Ellen, Alex.
‘ander, Griffin and Janna, Mary taught at
Immacutate Conception in Dunbar, Cen-
tral School in Port Coquitlara, and later
: substituted at several West Vancouver
‘ schools. Always interested in education

i and community affairs, Mary was a

' devoted volunteer for the PTA at
 Hollybura and West Vancouver High
Schools, many charity campaigns, aquat-
' je therapy and special services at the
, Seniors Centre and Expo 86 Round-
+ house. She made many good friends
along the way. A memorial service will
be held. at 3:00 p.m. on. Friday,
December 10th at West Vancouver Unit-
ed Church, 2062 Esquimalt. in lieu of
flowers, donations in Mary's memory to
the West Vancouver Seniors Centre Raise
the Roof Fund, 695-2ist Street, West
