Lynn Valley residents address concerns LYNN VALLEY residents will have the opportunity to take a hand in shaping their future at an upcoming meeting on Wednesday, May 29. The meeting has been organized by the Lynn Valley Youth Advi- sory Committee with the goal of addressing the ‘‘liveability’’ of the area and ways in which it could be enhanced. “We felt we needed to broaden the scope and not just focus on youth,’’ said youth advisory committee vice-chairman John O'Neill. He says issues discussed at the meeting could range from traffic concerns to daycare to af- fordable housing. He says other areas, such as the Capitano district, have community services committees that Lynn Valley lacks. He is hoping that a werking committee to address res- tdents’ concerns will result from the May 29 meeting. Information about programs and services presently available will also be given at the meeting.
