The plasma physics team, assembled by Nodwell within the university’s physics department, has over the years made significant contributions to new knowledge and has transferred the new tech- nology from the laboratory to the marketplace. Can-Dive will use the suits in its marine salvage operations and underwater construction projects. The sale of $500,000 worth of deep diving apparatus to the com- pany is the first step in Interna- tional Hard Suits’ bid to assemble $4.5 million in orders by the close of 1988.
