A PROPOSED 20-unit senior citizens housing project from

West Vancouver United Church is getting a

thanks to district council.

Despite rejection from the West
Vancouver Advisory Planning
Commission, council recently
decided to put the proposal before
the Advisory Design Panel. Coun-
cil has also called for a staff
report.

High density with a lack of open
space on a small site at 20th and
Esquimalt is the major objection
from the Advisory Planning
Commission.

zoning requirements.

carefully ... we consider this design
as well done as we can do it,’’
replied Scott.
