DONALD GEORGE Marsh,
the gentle motivator of

North Shore community
theatre, died Saturday at age
60.

Unable to act because of
heart . problems, Marsh
became an organizing force
in North Shore theatre.

Marsh was past president
of the North Vancouver
Community Players, found-
er of the North Shore
Theatre Zone, organizer of
Stage 333, and joint’ reci-
pient (with his wife Anne) of
the Eric Hamber Award for
exceptional service to com-
munity theatre service.

In addition he was recent-
ly presented with the Don
Marsh award for creating
harmony among __ theatre
groups on the North Shore.

Marsh was also.a foster
parent and avid French
Horn player.

A memorial service is be-
ing held Friday October 18,
at 4 p.m. in St. Clements
Anglican Church.

her graphic arts career. In the winter her favorite activity is sitting by the fire with a friend.
