New slate for Real Estate The British Columbia Real Estate Association, representing more than 10,000 real estate licencees in the province, elected its new president and vice- president at its annual meeting held earher this month. Alex Stewart takes over the reins as president from Ray Rawnsley. Stewart steps up from his position as BCREA's vice-president. Licenced in 1972 and obtain- ing his agent's status two years later, Stewart has made considerable contribu- tions to the real estate in- dustry.
