District council fears the City is trying to scuttle the idea of amalgamation while one City alderman is worried the City might be forced into a shotgun marriage. “North Vancouver could be swept into amalgamation with every voter in the City voting no,” said Alderman Frank Marcino. Despite Marcino’s’ war- ning, City council voted to add the question of a professional study to the ovember 21 municipal ballot. However.
