Vancouver Guild of Fabric Arts
presents fabric art featuring the
stitch for your pleasure and
delight.

In Celebration. of the Stitch
British Columbia 1993 is an ex-
hibition of juried fabric art from
the province to be held in the
atrium of the Hongkong Bank of
Canada, 885 West Georgia St.,
from Monday, Aug. 9 to Friday,
Aug. 20.

This provincial exhibit welcomes
the international travelling show
Celebrating the Stitch that will be
in The Canadian Craft Museum to
Sept. 3, and celebrates Craft in
the Americas 1993.

The two shows offer an oppor-

tunity to examine contemporary
approaches to the use of fabric,
embroidery, quilting, and other
fibre techniques as art. ‘
