Finding passion in your FOR anyone who thinks their life is going along pretty much by accident, there is a popular course offered at Capilano College you may wish to take. The course is called Living Your Life on Purpose. It is about using personal values to make choices. Instructor Terry Ramsey, a lifestyle coach, directs partici- pants through a process that hel s them find their passions, fine their values, develop lane and make commitments. The $125 course has a max- imum enrolment of 10 people. Extra sessions have been added because of a waiting list. The next sessian runs from March 27 to April 10. Another session is planned in May. Ramsey said that individual people tell her that they have a lot of material things, “but are missing passion ia their life. She said once a person tinds their lite’s passion, “it’s like nothing can hold them back.” Interior designer Carmen Mitchell took the course. Mitchell felt she was “stuck” in a point in her life. The course helped her become more focused and jose any fear associated with a career plan she already had. Course participants go over the pros and cons of pursuing a dream, taking a promotion or changing careers. Gecko tea not toxic HEALTH Canada says its recent testing of Gecko Lizard Herbal Tea Mix did not show the presence of toxins that could have caused the severe illness of two peo- ple in Ottawa. On Feb. 23, Health Canada wamied the public not to drink Gecko Lizard Herbal Tea Mix, etieensdal commonly used and promoted as an “energizer.” At the time, the government agency suspect- ed that the product was the most likely cause of severe injury that led to the hospitalization of the two individuals in Ortawa. No evidence indicates that any component of the tea caused such illness, and Health Canada advised distributors of the product not to withhold sales any longer.
