The final mecting is set ta go at 7:30 p.m, on Dec. 5 at the Coach House Inn. Doug Howe. a member of the party's executive, said the all-candi- dates meeting will see B.C. Reform's leadership rivals deliver talks and take questions from. the floor. “Everything is fair game,” said Howe. He added that lively past meet- ings have engendered wide-ranging discussions on issues including everything fromm “what's a real Reformer” to the Kemano 2 issue. The meetings are leading up to a mail-in ballot which will choose Reform B.C.'s new feader. The ballot is scheduled to take place Dec. 31, said Howe. Some familiar and not-so-famil- iar names ure in the running. Contenders include Ron Gamble, a North Vancouver businessman and current party leader; Joe Leong. a Kamloops businessman; Terry Milne. a Victoria resident and for- merly a naval officer and diplomat: Wilf Hanni, a Cranbrook petroleum consultant, and Jack Weisgerber, the MLA for Peace River South and the current B.C. Reform Party house leader. The public is invited to attend the free meeting, although the party will be passing the hat to pay for the costs of holding the meeting, said Howe.
