culinary garden indeed, the
Tandoor? has taken root in the
fickle 40-seat Upper Lonsdale
venue that most recently. housed
La Minore, whose flowering, was
so brief that inattentive diners
might have missed it fic they left

sturdy European dishes for 13
years before the restaurant's
untimely and untidy departure in
early 1993.

Indian non-leavened pancake-
style breads.

The Tandoori features a good
selection of East Indian vegetarian
($7 to $8 for such items as Sap
Bhaji — spinach curry; Matar
Paneer — indian cream cheese
with peas; and Alu Matar — pota-
toes and peas; rice ($11 to $13),
seafood and combination dishes.
