Violence acceptable for the ‘downtrodden’

EVEN BEFORE the riots in Toronto and Los Angeles, it
was clear that snufflers and hypocrites had become our

main natural resource.

They include Mulroney B’wana,
MPs of all parties, the hippy
media and the dippy clergy. And
now their chorus is louder.

Canadian Nincompoopery ref-
uses to acknowledge that large-
scale mixing of the races doesn’t
work. It also insists that only
whites are racist. Never mind that
blacks and other ‘‘people of col-
or’? are as racist as anyone else
and more so.

Which is why, in the U.S.,
whites put as much distance as
they can between themselves and
blacks.

Befoze they smashed his face,
black thugs in Los Angeles told
Vancouver radio reporter George
Garrett it didn’t matter that he
was old. It was enough that he
was white.

In New York, a black professor
has said that whites should be
wiped off the face of the earth.
And no fuss was made about that.

There are always excuses for
minority racism. In the misnamed
City of the Angels murder and
mayhem are justified by the ver-
dict in the Rodney King beating
case — plus ‘long-standing
grievances.”’ Violence is OK if
done by ‘“‘the downtrodden.”

The we-are-to-blame song is
played ad nauseum. Fancy reasons
are advanced to excuse deeds far~
worse than anything those four
cops did.

But our apologists are not so
eager to make excuses for that
“racist jury’’ having returned the
verdict it did. They don’t want to
hear that the "os Angeles police
have to work ti: a human jungle
or that whites go in fear of their
lives.

It was left to The Times of
London to show what life is like
there. It reported:

**The police are shown a train-
ing video called Surviving Edged
Weapons.

“Knives are shown concealed in
driving licences, bracelets,
lipsticks, and baseball
hats...Grizzly, authentic
photographs of terrible wounds go
alongside statistics informing
rookie officers that they have a
one in three chance of being at-
tacked with a knife. The over-
riding message is one of terrov.”*

The same is true of a dozen
other American cities and on a (as
yet) smailer scale in Toronto and
Montreal, thanks to the lunatic
immigration policies favored by
your representatives in Ottawa.

In Vancouver, the police have
lost control over Asian gangs.

When Los Angeles went upin |
smoke, the smugness in Ottawa
was insufferable.

around on TV saying ‘‘Thank
God this is Canada.”’ Mulroney
B’wana gave lectures to Canadians
about hate and racism.

No sooner were the words out
of their mouths than scum we
have imported from the West In-
dies and Haiti decided they too
would like a little fun. All
justified, it seems, because a
knife-wielding black had been
shot by the Toronto police.

There was the usual liberal
handwringing. It wasn’t the
rioters’ fault. Oh, no! But not one
member of ovr Army of the Sanc-
timonious had ever faced an arm-

ed, crack-crazed gentleman of
color.

It was a wonder that blacks
figured in the riot stories at all.
And they probably wouldn’: have
if it hadn’t been for TV, which
had no alternative. For it is the
liberal faw that the race of colored
criminals be concealed.

Remember the Vancouverite
who went to Los Angeles last year
and came back a paraplegic?
Blacks shot him when he stopped
at a traffic light. Not that you
would have known it from the
news stories.

Remember the local travel agent
who was robbed, beaten and shot
in Miami in November? The
report in The Province was that it
was done by ‘‘five men.”’ In fact
it was done by five black men.
The victim toid me he had given
that news to the reporter. But it
never figured in the story.

Los Angeles and Toronto show
that do-good liberal policies are
useless and now lie in ashes.

Nothing appeases the black pro-
letariat. And if a court case turns
out the wrong way, extreme vio-
lence is in order.

Also of no effect have been
discrimination against whites in
the job market, and admitting
U.S. blacks into university with
lower marks than whites. The
dreadful busing program? Also
useless.

Will our befuddied Canadian
politicians learn anything from all
this? Don’t be daft. They are
debating ‘“‘problems of racism.”

But not one of them will say
