Festival of the Arts. The artists are: Ross Munro, Marvin H. Manual, Moira Thomp.- son, Janis Blyth, Marja Leena Rath- je, Monica Shelton, Barry Shelton and Marke Mazeppa. In addition, Blyth received a $100 cash award for her mixed media work entitled Counting Sheep. Barry Shelton was also awarded $100 for his acrylic piece called Earth Vessel, and Mazeppa received $500 for a ceramic en- titled Blackberries. Honorable mentions were awarded to: Judy Bagshaw, Karen Cain, Heather Cairns and jean Morrison, The selections, made over the weekend at Klee Wyck in West Vancouver, will represent the North Shore at the Festival of the Arts, held in Saanich, B.C. from May 23-27. One hundred and six- ty-three pieces were entered for jurying.
