Again quarterback Nar Sundar was a standoui for the Express. Eilvio Ciampelletti did the same on defence. Big Bird kept pace with league- leading Express by defeating the Deep Cove Dolphins 22-12. Chris Baldry had three touchdowns for the Bird while rusher Bob Menzies stood out on defence as did Cass Bennett and Ross; Hougland for the Dolphins. Finaily, the Walibangers surprised the slipping Fort Knox Gold 18-7, overcoming a 7-6 halftime lead.
